The Monterey Bay Chapter of the International Association of Fundraising Professionals hosts its 2018 Summer Fundraising Summit on Friday, June 22, at Embassy Suites, Seaside, CA.

The full-day conference will include a continental breakfast, a renowned keynote speaker, five breakout sessions, a networking lunch, a general session, wine reception, and more!

Our keynote speaker is Jay Love, author, consultant and president of Bloomerang, Inc. Jay is a member of the AFP International Board of Trustees. The day also features Claire Axelrad: fundraising coach, blogger, and featured expert for BloomerangNetwork for Good, andTopNonprofits/ThirdSectorToday.

Attendees will hear from Autumn Rossi of Hyashi Wayland on the new tax law and from Liza Horvath of Monterey Trust Management on planned giving strategies. Alicia Hernandez Sanchez of CSUMB will present a two-hour session on grant writing. Closing out the day will be a special presentation direct from the AFP International Conference: Fundraising for Introverts by Vinney Arora, Ann-Marie Meacham, and Matthew Taylor Siegel of the Silicon Valley AFP chapter.
